Tucumcari Main Street is currently in the second year of its start-up phase as a participating member of the New Mexico Main Street Program. Originally initiated through the Greater Tucumcari Economic Development Corporation in 2007, Tucumcari Main Street now has it's own office and a full-time executive director, Mark Lake.
The role of Tucumcari Main Street in the community is to help assure that downtown Tucumcari retains its character as a unique, thriving business and cultural center where local residents and visitors alike consider it a destination point for shopping, dining, and entertainment.
Tucumcari Main Street is proud to have the City of Tucumcari, the Greater Tucumcari Economic Development Corporation and the Tucumcari/Quay County Chamber of Commerce as sponsors.
